Rooted Wellness Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Rooted Wellness, a division of MD Rooted & Still, LLC, handles information collected through its website and coaching process.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with Rooted Wellness, we may receive information such as your name, contact details, appointment information, intake responses, wellness goals, information you voluntarily share during coaching, and transaction-related information. Payment card processing is handled through the payment provider used at checkout; Rooted Wellness does not need your full card number to provide coaching.
How information is used
Information may be used to provide and prepare for coaching, communicate about appointments, process or document purchases, provide requested resources, maintain ordinary business records, improve services, protect the business and its users, and comply with legal obligations.
Sensitive wellness information
Please share only information reasonably necessary for your coaching goals. Rooted Wellness may ask about wellness history, medications, supplements, existing labs, pregnancy or postpartum status, or other context when relevant to general coaching. Rooted Wellness is a wellness-coaching service and does not represent that all information submitted through ordinary website, email, form, or coaching systems is protected under HIPAA.
Service providers
Rooted Wellness may use third-party providers for functions such as website hosting, payment processing, scheduling, forms, email, or other business operations. Those providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Sharing
Rooted Wellness does not sell personal information as part of the coaching service. Information may be shared with service providers as necessary to operate the service, when you direct or authorize a disclosure, to protect rights or safety, or when required or permitted by law.
Retention and security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information, but no website, email, form, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including business, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs.
Your choices
You may choose not to provide optional information. You may also request correction or deletion of information where appropriate and subject to records that must reasonably be retained for legal, transactional, or business purposes.
Children
This website is directed to adults purchasing or using Rooted Wellness services. A parent or legal guardian should be the person providing information and consent when a service appropriately involves a minor.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Rooted Wellness services and systems change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
